Yes folks, it’s official! On Saturday, February 16 I sat down and took the National Academy of Sports Medicine’s certified personal trainer exam. After six months of studying, and nearly two years of college course work, I passed.
I’d have to say it was one of the hardest exams I have ever taken, but one of my proudest personal moments. I’ve waited for this opportunity for quite some time. And with balancing a 50+ hour a week job, 12 credit hours, my own training and studying for the NASM exam, I’m one happy dude.
So now I’m an official personal trainer and look forward to sharing more with you. And come this May, I’ll have my associate’s degree in sport and exercise science.
